Iran announces policy shift, will implement "ongoing crackdown," warning that oil prices could rise to $200 per barrel

Gate News reports that on March 11, a spokesperson from Iran’s Hatam Anbia Central Command announced that Iran’s policy of “equivalent retaliation” has ended and will be replaced with “continuous strikes.” The spokesperson warned that the United States cannot control oil prices through artificial measures and should prepare for oil prices to reach $200 per barrel.

Meanwhile, data from the prediction market Polymarket shows a 5% probability that a US-Iran ceasefire will occur before March 15, a 30% chance before March 31, and a 49% chance before April 30.
