Việc Bitcoin phục hồi lên trên mốc 94.000 USD vào ngày 5/1 đã thổi bùng trở lại làn sóng dự đoán giá táo bạo trên Crypto Twitter, nổi bật nhất là tuyên bố của YoungHoon Kim cho rằng Bitcoin sẽ chạm 100.000 USD trong vòng 48 giờ. Phát ngôn này nhanh chóng lan truyền, một phần nhờ đà hồi phục ngắn hạn của thị trường và phần khác đến từ danh tiếng gây tranh cãi của Kim với những dự báo cực đoan.
Kim – một nhân vật mạng xã hội người Hàn Quốc – trở nên nổi tiếng vào cuối năm 2025 khi liên tục tự nhận có IQ cực cao và cho rằng quan điểm thị trường của mình vượt trội so với phân tích truyền thống. Tuy nhiên, nhiều dự báo trước đó của ông đã không thành hiện thực, khi Bitcoin bị kìm hãm bởi bất ổn vĩ mô và động lực suy yếu.
Dù đà tăng gần đây của Bitcoin trùng với xu hướng “risk-on” của chứng khoán Mỹ, bức tranh tổng thể chưa thay đổi đáng kể. Động lực có cải thiện, nhưng vẫn thiếu các yếu tố then chốt như mua đuổi hoảng loạn, cú sốc nguồn cung hay tín hiệu on-chain mạnh để hỗ trợ một cú bứt phá nhanh lên vùng sáu chữ số.
