以太坊 Layer2 新星 MegaETH 正式啟動主網，主打極低延遲與高吞吐量，並採取達標後才發行代幣的策略。
主打超低延遲、高吞吐量的以太坊 Layer2 網路 MegaETH 周一正式啟動主網，首波已有超過 50 個應用程式同步上線。這個標榜「即時區塊鏈」的 Layer2 新星，目標效能為每秒處理 50,000 筆交易（TPS）與 10 毫秒的極速出塊時間。
官方聲明指出，MegaETH 的設計核心專門針對區塊鏈「延遲」問題。團隊認為，延遲才是真正限制使用者體驗的瓶頸。為此，MegaETH 開發了一套名為「Small Authentication Large Trie（SALT）」的全新系統架構，透過將關鍵資料直接保留在記憶體中，從而規避傳統的儲存延遲。團隊在聲明中表示：
MegaETH 利用以太坊進行結算與確保安全性，同時將執行層獨立拆分，藉此突破傳統區塊鏈架構所帶來的效能瓶頸。我們的目標從來不是成為 Layer1 或 Layer2 區塊鏈，而是打造效能最極致的區塊鏈。這樣的架構，是區塊鏈設計演進的必然結果。
MegaETH 成立於 2022 年，並於 2024 年 6 月完成 2,000 萬美元種子輪融資，由 Dragonfly Capital 領投，投資陣容相當亮眼，包括以太坊共同創辦人 Vitalik Buterin 、 Joseph Lubin 皆參與其中。
MegaETH 這次主網上線延續了去年的測試網成果，以及今年 1 月進行的「全球壓力測試」，也就是嘗試在 7 天內處理 110 億筆交易，藉此驗證網路在長時間、高負載狀態下的吞吐量與穩定性。此外，MegaETH 去年 10 月的公開代幣銷售也引發市場瘋搶，獲得高達 13.9 億美元的超額認購承諾。
MegaETH 表示，低延遲設計催生了兩項創新應用：全新的鏈上交易資產，以及用戶與這些資產互動的新方式，包括遊戲化、點擊式和無錢包體驗，讓用戶幾乎感覺不到區塊鏈的存在。
聲明中還指出，MegaETH 內部加速器 MegaMafia 已孵化出多個團隊，這些團隊已從富蘭克林坦伯頓（Franklin Templeton）、 Robot Ventures 、 Maven11 和 Figment Capital 等機構籌集了超過 7000 萬美元的風險投資。
值得注意的是，MegaETH 採取了獨特的「脫鉤」策略：主網上線並不代表原生代幣 MEGA 同步發行。
團隊明確指出，MEGA 代幣將在達成以下三項 關鍵績效指標（KPI）中任意一項後的 7 天內發行：

流動性指標： 穩定幣 USDM 的 30 天平均流通量達到 5 億美元。

生態活躍度： 主網上有 10 個 MegaMafia 加速器應用程式處於活躍狀態。

營收能力： 連續 30 天內，有 3 個應用程式的日均手續費收入超過 5 萬美元。
