IOG cho biết nguyên mẫu Leios đã thể hiện hành vi end-to-end rõ ràng, chứng minh khả năng vận hành xuyên suốt của hệ thống từ khâu xử lý giao dịch đến xác thực và hoàn tất khối. Theo kế hoạch, Leios sẽ nâng cấp hiệu suất của Layer-1 trên Cardano từ mức khoảng 10 giao dịch mỗi giây (TPS) lên 500 TPS ngay trong bản phát hành đầu tiên, đánh dấu bước tiến đáng kể về khả năng mở rộng mạng lưới.
