PANews 14. Februar – Laut Cryptopolitan hat die Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) im Dezember letzten Jahres ihren aktualisierten Rahmen für die Regulierung von Kryptowährungen veröffentlicht und am 12. Februar 2026 eine FAQ-Datei herausgegeben, um Unternehmen bei der Verständigung und Umsetzung der neuen Vorschriften zu unterstützen. Der neue Rahmen erlaubt es innerhalb des Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) von der DFSA regulierten Einheiten, selbstständig die Kryptowährungen für die Zusammenarbeit auszuwählen, ohne dass eine vorherige Genehmigung durch die DFSA erforderlich ist. Diese Aktualisierung ist seit Januar 2026 in Kraft.
Die FAQ klärt, dass die neuen Vorschriften Kryptowährungen, die für Zahlungs- oder Investitionszwecke verwendet werden, umfassen, jedoch keine NFTs, Utility-Token, Wertpapier-Token oder Stablecoins, die als Investitions-Token gelten. Stablecoins sind ausschließlich Vermögensverwaltern für Zahlungszwecke vorbehalten. Unternehmen, die Produkte im Zusammenhang mit Kryptowährungen anbieten, müssen die Token-Regelung und die entsprechenden Anforderungen einhalten. Die Eignungsbewertung der Token umfasst deren Eigenschaften, den regulatorischen Status in anderen Gerichtsbarkeiten, die globale Markgröße und Liquidität, die zugrunde liegende Technologie sowie die Möglichkeit, die Einhaltung der Vorschriften zu beeinträchtigen.
