Gate News消息,3月14日,英国国家犯罪调查局(NCA)拟冻结并没收一名24岁女子在伦敦持有的两套公寓、一个车位及六个银行账户内的资产,共计600万英镑(约合人民币5500万元),理由是怀疑这些资产与犯罪所得有关且无法解释来源。3月13日,英国高等法院驳回了该女子要求撤销冻结令的申请。根据法庭披露的信息,这名24岁女子的叔叔是新加坡"30亿新元洗钱案"中10名已被捕、定罪并判刑者之一,她的父亲则在另外17名涉案外逃人员之列,并属于后来被新加坡当局处理、交出资产的15人之一。综合对比新加坡警方此前公布的信息,该女子是王水挺的女儿、王水明的侄女。2023年8月15日,新加坡警方发动全岛同步突击行动,逮捕10名外籍人士并查扣、冻结资产,案值随后扩至约30亿新元(约合人民币163.8亿元),成为该国史上最大洗钱案。由于九男一女共10名被告多为原籍福建安溪,该案亦被称为"福建帮洗钱案"。
